I’ve always found it peaceful working on odd jobs around the house and have many fond memories growing up working with my dad tackling our “to-do” list. To this day, every time I use a screw driver I can hear him saying “righty tighty, lefty loosey.”
Working my way through college I built decks, refinished basements and completed numerous odd jobs for a construction company in my home town. Since graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in business administration, I’ve been working for Fortune 500 companies in the IT industry. After many years as a project manager, with the support of my wife and daughter, I accepted an early retirement package at the end of 2012 to pursue my dream of starting a small business. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with one of the leading IT companies in the world for more than 20 years, but it was time for me to leave the corporate world and go out on my own.
I have a passion for understanding how things work and have spent countless hours searching and researching how things work around the house. I fixed up our first home and it sold quickly, allowing us to make a smooth transition when we decided it was time to relocate. With my experience managing people, working with a variety of customers and managing large projects, the home maintenance industry seems like a perfect fit. I see how difficult and time consuming it can be and I know how frustrated you can get when you hire a contractor that doesn’t show up, charges an arm and a leg, and doesn’t deliver. I want to change how this industry works one home at a time.
I’m looking forward to sharing what I have learned along the way and helping others maintain their homes, so they can spend their free time pursuing their own passions.
“We needed a wide range of work to be completed prior to selling our home and Bryan came in and made us feel extremely comfortable in his ability to get it done for us. We needed multiple bathroom vanities installed, ceiling repair, wall repair, extensive painting of baseboards and walls, and front porch repair. Instead of getting multiple contractors for each individual job that would take months, we were able to have Bryan do all of them in a matter of two weeks. He is a skilled, personable, and very hard working professional. The finished product is exactly what was promised and we couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love his business plan of being the one-stop shop for seasonal house maintenance and will definitely hire him again when we build our new home. We considered him part of the family when he was working in our home and that’s why we will be a repeat customer. He made this process extremely easy and we appreciate everything he did for us. Thanks, Bryan!”
